Raising Awareness
Developing the university's sustainability policies, sharing them with internal and external stakeholders, and monitoring the implementation of these policies. Developing strategies aligned with the university's sustainable development goals, monitoring and reporting results. Conducting activities to promote sustainable development awareness across campus. Developing seminars and interactive workshops to raise students' awareness of sustainability. Encouraging students to be active in the field through volunteer community projects to reinforce their learning experiences in sustainability.
Developing Public, Private Sector and NGO Collaborations
To establish strategic partnerships with public institutions to contribute to sustainable development policymaking and develop and implement community projects. To develop innovative projects with the private sector and carry out joint initiatives in the field of sustainability. To design social and environmental responsibility projects in collaboration with civil society organizations. To raise awareness and encourage participation in sustainable development by collaborating with local communities.
Contributing to Policy Making
To support the development of collaboration between universities and decision-makers on sustainable development strategies and policies at the local and national levels. To raise public awareness of environmental and social sustainability issues and increase the university's contribution to policy-making processes.
Contributing to Sustainable Development at Local, National and International Levels
At the local level: Working in close collaboration with the university's region, we will develop environmental and social projects and reach out to all segments of society to raise awareness of sustainability. At the national level: Leading sustainable development projects across Turkey and making our university a model institution in this field. We will carry out joint projects with the private sector and government institutions. At the international level: Contributing to the search for solutions to global problems, participating in international sustainability networks, and making our university more effective globally through international collaborations.
Creating Added Value with Community Projects
Developing projects that will directly benefit society in pursuit of sustainable development goals. These projects will minimize social, economic, and environmental impacts and create long-term solutions. Ensuring the university plays a leadership role in sustainability initiatives at the local and national levels. Reaching a wider audience by developing innovative approaches in community-focused projects. Actively contributing to social development by developing projects in the areas of social justice, environmental protection, and the creation of economic opportunities.
