Conscious Parenting Trainings Begin in Istanbul!
Conscious Parenting Trainings Begin in Istanbul! The first Conscious Parenting training, organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, was held with a strong participation of parents. Led by Aslıhan Güzin Alsan, a faculty member at Istanbul Topkapı University, the training program focused on raising parents' awareness to foster healthy and trusting relationships with their children. The training, which also featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurhüda Sözen from the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, emphasized that parenting is not just raising children but also a transformational process. Parents learned that it is difficult to be a healthy guide for their children without understanding their own emotions, and emphasized that conscious parenting is not merely an innate instinct but a process that can be learned and developed. As part of the training, a specially prepared "Awareness Bag" designed to help parents explore their inner worlds was shared with parents. This bag provides a guide to strengthening the bond they form with their children. Trainings to Be Expanded! It was stated that this training series will continue regularly to raise parents' awareness and help them establish healthier bonds with their children. To expand the program and reach more parents, training sessions are planned in other regions in the future. Istanbul Topkapı University Continues to Support Families with its “Conscious Parenting School”!
Istanbul Topkapı University continues to contribute to social transformation by offering free training to parents through its "Conscious Parenting School" project, launched to support families in establishing healthier and more conscious relationships with their children. The project aims to help parents gain emotional awareness, establish strong communication with their children, identify and overcome traumas, and develop positive discipline methods. The trainings are provided by expert academics at Istanbul Topkapı University and are completely free of charge. Call for Collaboration to Reach More Families The Conscious Parenting School is currently an active project and is ready to collaborate with municipalities, district governorships, provincial and district national education directorates, civil society organizations, and private sector representatives to expand its impact and reach more parents!
