Conscious Parenting Training Begins in Istanbul!

The first of the Conscious Parenting trainings, organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, was held with high participation from parents. Led by Aslıhan Güzin Alsan, a faculty member at Istanbul Topkapı University, the training program focused on raising awareness among parents to establish healthy and trust-based relationships with their children.

The training, which also included the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurhüda Sözen from the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, emphasized that parenting is not just about raising children, but also a transformative process. Parents learned that it is difficult to be a healthy guide for their children without understanding their own emotional state, and that conscious parenting is not just an innate instinct, but a process that can be learned and developed.

As part of the training, a specially prepared "Awareness Bag" was shared with parents to help them explore their inner world. This bag provides parents with a guide to strengthening the bond they have with their children.

The trainings will be expanded!

It was stated that this training series will continue regularly to raise awareness among parents and help them build healthier bonds with their children. To expand the program and reach more parents, training sessions are planned in different regions in the future.

Istanbul Topkapi University Continues to Support Families with its “Conscious Parenting School”! Istanbul Topkapi University continues to contribute to social transformation by offering free training to parents through its “Conscious Parenting School” project, launched to support families in establishing healthier and more conscious relationships with their children. The project aims to help parents gain emotional awareness, build strong communication with their children, recognize and overcome traumas, and develop positive discipline methods. The trainings are delivered by expert academics from Istanbul Topkapi University and are completely free.
